“Bakugou,” Todoroki says in a tone than makes Katsuki’s skin crawl every time. No, he’s not doing this anymore, he will not. 

“What?” he says, getting closer to the common room’s couch where Todoroki is curled up under a blanket like a cat – as if he needed it, with his quirk.

Todoroki pats the spot beside him and Katsuki sits with a sigh. Not another dumb, cat video, please. Just, not. 

It is another dumb cat video. But Todoroki is smiling – that timid thing showing more and more on his face – as he passes Katsuki his phone. And Katsuki be damned if he does something to make that smile disappear – he’s in too deep, he knows, but they’re alone in the common room and Todoroki will never catch up anyways. He can indulge both himself and Todoroki. 

Katsuki takes the phone, Todoroki puts his chin on Katsuki’s shoulder to watch the video once again – Katsuki doesn’t want to know how many times he watched it already, but it’s okay, a lot of things are when Todoroki sits close enough that he can smell his vanilla and lemon shampoo – and Katsuki press play.
